ABOUT ME! *
Amy Nicole (she/her) is an actor, singer, dancer, and songwriter from White Plains, New York (just north of NYC)! It was when she played a caterpillar/butterfly in Sleeping Beauty at the age of six that she got bit by the theatre bug (pun intended), and she has been blossoming on the stage ever since! She is endlessly grateful to be able to spend her time creating and sharing art!
Amy has a passion for new works and has had the incredible opportunity to work on many up-and-coming shows! She made her Off-Broadway debut in the new musical Wilderness! (Dana) dir. Amanda Berkson at Classic Stage Company this past summer! She also recently performed in the public premiere of Oy Band (Rachel) dir. Sammi Cannold & Mary McGowan at Goodspeed Musicals, The Angel Makers (Maria) dir. Tim Howard at WCSU, and can be heard on the demo recordings of LBJ: The Musical (Lady Bird Johnson).
She also loves creating her own art and is a singer-songwriter who has been referred to as a “modern-day Joni Mitchell” with her poetic yet relatable lyrics and affinity for a good yodel. She released her debut singles, “On the Vine” and “Bloom,” on all streaming platforms in 2023. Her latest single, indie pop bop “Saturn & Jupiter,” came out this August! She has performed her music live in NYC at The Green Room 42 and pinkFROG cafe.
In her free time, Amy loves thrifting and secondhand fashion (she is widely regarded as a thrift good luck charm by her friends), finding the quaintest coffee shops around, spreading positivity, and discovering new music to share with her friends and family (it’s her love language) or writing her own!
EDUCATION
Amy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Western Connecticut State University with her BFA in Musical Theatre in May 2025!
At WCSU, she was fortunate enough to receive fantastic training from industry professionals such as Tony Award winner Scott Wise (Jerome Robbins’ Broadway, Allegiance Broadway), Tony-nominated Elizabeth Parkinson (Movin’ Out Broadway, Fosse Broadway), Mary Ann Lamb (Chicago Broadway, Seussical Broadway), Janelle Robinson (Mary Poppins Broadway, Oklahoma! Broadway), Tim Howard (Parade First Nat’l Tour dir. Hal Prince, Show Boat Nat’l Tour dir. Hal Prince), John Hickock (Parade Broadway, Little Women Broadway), Matt Newton (MN Acting Studio (Founder, Head Coach), Drake & Josh Go Hollywood, Gilmore Girls), and many more.
